This 'Neverending Story' Music Video Is The Best Music Video

On July 20, it will have been 30 years since the release of the cult classic film "The Neverending Story." So you probably know the title song performed by British '80s pop star Limahl, but have you ever seen its bizarrely amazing music video? Well, you are in for a treat of the highest caliber.

Here are some never ending GIFs of our personal favorite moments from a video that should be on display in the Smithsonian in a never ending loop:

Even the Childlike Empress is impressed by Limahl's pouty-lipped singing style.

For Limahl, you can never hold a note for too long, or enunciate and re-enunciate enough.

And there are never too many jazz ... jazz ... jazz ... hands.

Falling asleep mid-chorus was a real danger of the 1980s. Also, backup singer ninjas hiding in the shadows.

But let's not forget '80s special effects -- LOOK OUT, LIMAHL!

Phew, that was too close.
