"American Pie" might have been a box office smash in 1999, but Jason Biggs doesn't think the same would be true today.
"Specifically for that demographic, there's now so much more," he told HuffPost Live's Alyona Minkovski in a Monday interview. "The internet has really provided so much more distraction, and I also think teenagers especially have kind of been anesthetized to a lot."
The World Wide Web's offerings make the raunchy teen comedy's antics less shocking, the "Orange Is The New Black" actor explained, whereas, in the late '90s, "'American Pie' was risqué."
"Then, it was like, 'Whoa, he put his penis in what?'" he said, referring to the iconic scene in which his character, Jim, gets intimate with a freshly-made apple pie. "Now, it's like, 'Oh, yeah, sure, of course he did.'"
