Albert Pujols Tested Yasiel Puig And Then Mocked Him (VIDEO, GIF)

WATCH: Pujols Mocks Puig After Lazy Catch

Albert Pujols and the Los Angeles Angels had some fun on Monday night at Yasiel Puig's expense.

In the sixth inning, the Los Angeles Dodgers phenom caught a fly ball in center field and nearly doubled up Erick Aybar at first base with a strong throw. Puig then delivered a Dikembe Mutombo finger wag as if to say, "don't test me."

But Puig let down his guard in the eighth inning and an unlikely Angels star decided to test him. Albert Pujols, not exactly known for his speed on the base paths, was standing on first base when Puig casually caught a fly ball in deep center field. Pujols quickly dashed for second base and was halfway there before Puig realized what was happening. After the three-time NL MVP easily reached second, the Angels dugout celebrated and Mike Trout was shown wagging his finger. The inning ended with Pujols stranded on second but the fun didn't stop there. As Pujols was walking away, he mocked the way Puig nonchalantly made the catch.

"He can have fun; I'm having fun, too," Pujols said after the Angels' shutout win, via MLB.com.
