Producers have already called "American Horror Story: Freak Show" the series' "best season" yet, and now it's getting even better.

Music legend Patti LaBelle has reportedly signed on for a four-episode arc on the show, according to TVLine. LaBelle will play the mother of Gabourey Sidibe's character and is set to uncover the mystery of Twisty the clown killer.

The newest season of "AHS" will focus on 1950s America and, in addition to LaBelle, will feature Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett and Frances Conroy. Michael Chiklis and Wes Bentley are also set to make appearances, reports TV Guide.
