Conan O'Brien Completely Botches The Ice Bucket Challenge

Conan O'Brien is ready for the ice bucket challenge -- except he's a little confused about how it works.

O'Brien seems to think that if he pours a bucket of ice water on his head, "ALS" will pay him a hundred bucks.

"That's a pretty sweet deal," Conan said on Thursday night's show just before being drenched. "I could use that cash."

Of course, that's not exactly how the challenge works, and O'Brien's reaction is absolutely priceless.

Check out the clip above for more -- and wait 'til you hear who he challenges next.

The ice bucket challenge is being used to raise both money and awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis , aka Lou Gehrig's disease. When challenged, you're supposed to dump a bucket of ice water over your head, send a donation to an ALS charity or both.

The ALS Association says it has received $7.6 million in donations since the campaign began on July 29.
