There's only so much we can say about a subject before we start to feeling like we're repeating ourselves, but when it comes to pimento cheese -- a beloved cheese spread from the South -- we're more than happy to sound like a broken record. This stuff is worth it.
Pimento cheese is the sum of three very simple ingredients: cheddar cheese, pimento peppers and mayonnaise. Of course, there are variations -- and we've found them all -- but those three are the main players. When combined in a bowl, these foods work harmoniously together to make what can be best described as the culinary gold of the South. Clearly, we are fans. Big, big fans.
Because making pimento cheese at home more times than we care to admit hasn't quite satisfied our need for the spread, we've found recipes that stuff it into everything. And since we suspect we're not alone in our pimento cheese obsession, we're sharing our findings. You are welcome, fellow fans.
