If you're a guy at Comic-Con, the only reason you're wearing that T-shirt with airbrushed ab muscles is to impress the ladies, right? And the real reason you venture in a comic book store is to score yourself a comics-loving girlfriend, yes?
These notions may sound completely ridiculous, but these type of sexist assumptions actually exist for "geek" women in the male-dominated field of comics and gaming. (Even female superhero action figures are tough to come by, these days.)
However, BuzzFeed illuminates the potential alienation female "geeks" can face by reversing the gender stereotypes in this comedic sketch. Kudos for using humor to shed light on some everyday misogyny.
