When the news broke last week that nude photos of celebrities including Jennifer Lawrence were leaked online, many people were offended by the gross violation of privacy. Helen Mirren was offended that her phone wasn't hacked.

That's right. The 69-year-old actress (also an Academy Award winner, like hack victim JLaw), reportedly told Magic FM "'I was rather insulted my phone wasn't hacked, actually. I kept desperately looking at the list of people whose phones were hacked, hoping to see my name," The Daily Mail reports.

But, we think it's safe to say the shocking comments were tongue-in-cheek. The actress went on to say she couldn't understand why anyone would store nude photos on their phone. "I think we're all in a learning curve about what is appropriate to put on your phone and what isn't and I think people will be far more careful in the future," Mirren said.

"It's insulting and stupid to hack phones," she said, calling the incident "offensive."

Investigations are ongoing into the scandal and several victims have taken legal action. Apple has even vowed to beef up its security, after it was revealed the photos were stolen from the iCloud.

Meanwhile Mirren has some sage advice for the starlets targeted. "'The best thing is to be superior and not take it too seriously." Well said, Dame Helen.
