Tim Tebow is joining "Good Morning America" as its newest contributor, ABC News announced Thursday.
The ESPN analyst and former NFL quarterback was a special guest host on the program in January prior to Super Bowl XLVIII. ABC News said that Tebow will help with the morning show's “Motivate Me Monday” series, reporting from the studio and towns across the country on inspirational stories.
He is set to begin on Monday, Sept. 15.
Tebow won't be the only former NFL star on the 'GMA' set. The morning show brought on Michael Strahan in April as a part-time correspondent. That same month, it also named ESPN's Tony Reali as a social media contributor.
