Is that a golf ball in his pocket, or is this guy just happy to be watching the Tour Championship? Actually, yes, that is a golf ball in his pocket.
Pro golfer Rory McIlroy made an unbelievable and unintentional trick shot Sept. 12. In the second round of the Tour Championship on Friday, McIlroy’s tee shot veered left into the trees, ultimately landing in the pocket of an unsuspecting observer.
A good-natured McIlroy later spoke to reporters about the incident.
Rory: "No, the fan took it out of his pocket. I know how sweaty my pockets are right now. I wasn't going in there." pic.twitter.com/Eck6ILyb64

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this post incorrectly stated that McIlroy won the Tour Championship over the weekend. In fact, Billy Horschel finished atop the leaderboard Sept. 14. McIlroy tied for second.
