Talina Woods Claims Daughter's Barbie Says The F-word (WARNING: Graphic Language)

Barbie Doll Utters Curse Word, Mom Alleges

Barbie is known for her blonde hair and fashion sense, but she might get a reputation for a foul mouth.

Talina Woods, 25, from Wales, recently purchased a "Life In The Dreamhouse Talking Barbie Doll" for her daughter, Demileigh, according to UPI.com.

The toy is supposed to say lots of phrases taken from Barbie's popular Life In The Dreamhouse web series, including "To the salon," and "I love a makeover."

Demileigh had the Barbie for two days before her mother heard the doll blurt out an off-color, three-word phrase summarized by the letters W, T and F.

Others who've heard the doll believe it sounds more like she's saying, "Off the hook," which is one of the 15 pre-set phrases that come with the doll.

Woods isn't taking any chances. She has taken the bad-word Barbie away from Demeleigh.

"We just told her that the doll had been bad and was swearing so it had to go," Woods told the Mirror. "She was disappointed, of course, but she understood that it is wrong to swear and so the doll had to go."

Woods tried to return the toy to the store where she bought it, but the business wouldn't take it back without a receipt, HuffPost UK reports.

Woods has reportedly taken the issue up with Mattel, which claims it is looking into the matter.

The company has not responded to HuffPost inquiries.

In addition to the 10 pre-set phrases, there is also an option that allows people to record their own messages.

That means it's possible that the doll could be made to say off-color phrases like the one reported by Woods.

Listen to the doll and take this poll.
