Guacamole is a sensitive recipe. Some guac-aficionados say that guac is not guac without some heat. Some swear the fruit's pit must be kept in the creamy dip to keep it from browning (though, sadly, this is not scientifically proven). And even more, some won't even look at guacamole unless it has a little onion.
