People's Climate March Preparation In Full Swing

The People's Climate March is just days away, and participants are already making their way to New York City from across the country to join in what organizers are saying will be the largest ever climate mobilization.

The march takes place on Sunday, Sept. 21 and begins at 11:30 a.m. in Columbus Circle. With more than a thousand groups involved, its hard to keep track of all that is happening. But here is a taste of the various ways the march is already being seen around New York and the world.

1. Subways are covered in posters

2. Activists are handing out invitations

3. Scientists are getting ready to march with blackboards and lab coats

4. The Bike Bloc is prepping bike-driven floats

5. The Climate Train is making its way across the country

6. And this group from Maine is biking all the way to New York

7. Artists are getting together in a giant warehouse to create signs and and banners for the march

8. Avaaz.org is running what it says will be its largest petition ever

9. Buses to NYC are being organized from all over the United States

10. And a global movement is shaping up
