High School Football Player Will Make You Believe In Everything

He's a teen Tony Robbins in shoulder pads: a high school football player turned a postgame interview into one of the most inspiring motivational speeches you may ever hear.

Apollos Hester had just helped East View High School of Georgetown, Texas, overcome a 14-point halftime deficit to defeat Vandegrift High, 42-41, Friday night. Asked by TWC News Austin's Lauren Mickler to review the game, Hester instead delivered a smart lesson on life.

In a nutshell Hester explained that sometimes you start slow -- and that's OK -- but a positive attitude will get you through anything, no matter the result. Only Hester said it way better. His eloquence will leave you speechless.

Mickler wrote on YouTube that Hester "made the interview hall-of-fame." And his words fired up the Internet as well, rising to the No. 1 video on Reddit.

This wasn't a one-off for Hester, by the way. He has apparently been practicing his motivational craft. After you watch his now viral interview above, check out this video below that he posted in August. "You can do it!" he says.

We believe we can, Apollos.
