Today (Monday) we celebrate rockstar Joan Jett's 56th birthday! As her time in The Runaways and her solo career show, she's always been into leather, heavy eye makeup and, despite a few departures, the same haircut for decades.

Not only does she actually pull off this mullet-like, piece-y style, she's worn it from short to long, slicked-down to teased. And although this cut might not work for just anyone, Jett flaunts it along with her overall bad ass vibe.
