There is nothing funny about Islamophobia -- but there may just be a way to use humor to combat it.
Many officials and activists have taken a stand against the religious profiling that has increased since ISIS became part of public discourse. But others have taken a more viral approach to spread awareness about Islam with tongue-in-cheek humor, spawning the hashtag #MuslimApologies.
All Muslims should not have to apologize for the actions of a few. And there is a lot more to Islam than the rampant stereotypes.
