In sports, it's all about the win. But one professional athlete says it's losing that helps her to perform her best.
U.S. women's national soccer team captain Christie Rampone joined HuffPost Live's Caroline Modaressey-Tehrani to discuss how losing games helps her thrive.
"Winning isn't everything," Rampone said. "The experience of losing, sometimes, makes you grow."
In 2011, her team lost the World Cup -- and Rampone explained that the lessons she learned from that experience will stay with her forever.
"That will always sit with me, for the rest of my life," she said.
