With his Texas Longhorns struggling this season, Texas alum Matthew McConaughey stopped by a practice last week to drop some wisdom.
He has experience as a football motivator from playing a real-life coach in "We Are Marshall." So perhaps this real-life pep talk was a cinch.
"I found that when I've done my best work as an actor, it was only when I pushed myself to be better than I ever thought I could be," the Oscar winner told the Texas players.
He later led the team in his chest thump and hum from "The Wolf of Wall Street."
Maybe the routine worked. The Longhorns went on to beat Kansas, 23-0.
