Sarah Silverman Explains Why She Stabbed Al Franken At 'SNL,' And It Still Doesn't Make Sense

Sarah Silverman Reveals Why She Wasn't Asked To Come Back To 'SNL'

Sometimes a story that sounds crazy turns out to have some logical explanation behind it. This isn't one of those times.

While on "Late Night," this week's "Saturday Night Live" host Sarah Silverman explained to Seth Meyers why she once stabbed Al Franken in the head with a pencil while she worked at the show. It's pretty hilarious and should serve as a reminder to current "SNL" cast members not to leave the host with any idle writing implements.

"Late Night with Seth Meyers" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC.
