If there were ever a doubt that the world is an amazing place, the existence of kitty cat donuts has put an end to it. Yes, the world is beautiful, cute and, as it turns out, even delicious. Just head to these Japanese donut shops if you don't believe us.
Using almonds for ears, these baked donuts are what every pastry aspires to be: too cute to eat (well, almost). Frosted and decorated with whiskers and a nose, these donuts are even better than the crazy cat lady cake -- and no one thought that was possible. If you're not really a cat person, worry not, there's a donut for you too. Japanese donut shops are baking in the form of pigs, bears and bunnies, too.
The Internet found these adorable donuts a couple of years ago, but we just found them again and had to share. But if you want to get your hands on kitty cat donuts but don't want to pull out your passport, here's an awesome recipe from I Am A Food Blog. Hers are pumpkin spiced and Nutella topped, to boot.
