Taking a trip to an unfamiliar destination is thrilling, but it also requires careful planning to ensure travelers enjoy the fun of exploration without getting off track. And now, thanks to technology, adventurous millennials can do it all without weighing themselves down with a stack of guidebooks.

Pitney visited 25 countries in 200 days, which he documented on his blog Instagram The World.
