Many fans of the 1-8 New York Jets want general manager John Idzik fired, and they are coming up with very creative ways to make that message known.
On Wednesday, an airplane flew over the Jets practice facility towing a banner that read: "FIRE JOHN IDZIK." According to the New York Daily News, the plane circled the Jets' practice for approximately 20 minutes, conveniently during the period that practice was accessible to the media.

Fortunately, for whomever is responsible for the banner, Jets owner Woody Johnson and Idzik were both present at practice Wednesday. That must have been very uncomfortable.

After the Jets' eighth straight loss on Sunday, the founders of website FireJohnIdzik.com announced that they raised enough money to put a billboard near MetLife Stadium calling for Idzik's firing. According to a tweet from FireJohnIdzik.com, the banner was not the site's doing:
That is not our plane but we endorse it.
