ESPN’s Mike Tirico isn’t known for making too many mistakes, but this one was hard to ignore.

The Monday Night Football play-by-play man confused Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton with a certain New York Jets pivot.

Vick played for the Philadelphia Eagles for five seasons before landing with the Jets, and the Eagles are playing in this game against the Panthers… but even that’s a bit of a stretch.
