An Albuquerque woman is behind bars after allegedly emailing photographs of herself performing oral sex on a 7-year-old boy to someone she calls the "caretaker."
Police said Gwen Lindgren took the alleged photos in September, but they were discovered Monday on her cellphone by her husband, KOAT TV reports. He then reported her to the police after viewing three or four images.
Lindgren was charged with criminal sexual penetration of a minor, criminal sexual contact of a minor, sexual exploitation of children, tampering with evidence and bribery or intimidation of a witness.
Lindgren allegedly told police she was forced to take the photographs by a man she has only met online, never in person. She told the police the mystery man was her "caretaker" who consoled her through marital issues with her husband.
Lindgren told police she took photographs of herself with the boy on two occasions. Police documents allege she threatened the boy never to discuss what she did to him, according to KOAT TV.
She also told police she could not guarantee she wouldn't do it again if the so-called caretaker asked, according to documents cited by the Albuquerque Journal.
The husband told police he was separated from his wife and in the process of getting a divorce.
The husband alleged that a year ago Lindgren had admitted to having sex acts with a child, but told police he didn't believe her because they were both very drunk, according to the Albuquerque Journal.
