These States Were The Big Spenders And Penny Pinchers In The 2014 Election Cycle

The 2014 midterm elections panned out to be the most expensive midterms ever, with total spending surpassing $3.67 billion. The country even saw its first Senate race eclipse the $100 million mark in North Carolina, where Republican Thom Tillis thwarted incumbent Sen. Kay Hagan (D).
