'American Horror Story' Covers Nirvana's 'Come As You Are'

FX

Nirvana invaded Jupiter, Florida, on Wednesday's "American Horror Story: Freak Show" when Jimmy Darling (Evan Peters) performed one of the band's "Nevermind" hits, "Come As You Are." He took the stage and gave his best Kurt Cobain tribute, while a montage in the background checked in with the rest of the cast.

The song is part of Ryan Murphy's recent habit of bringing unexpected covers to the show, including David Bowie's "Life on Mars," Fiona Apple's "Criminal" and Lana Del Rey's "Gods and Monsters." An upcoming episode will feature Kathy Bates singing Hole's "Doll Parts."

Watch the recorded footage over at Wondering Sound.
