When we talk about climate change, it's easy to get caught up in the politics and economic arguments and lose sight of what it is we're really fighting for. That's why we asked our followers on Instagram to show us one thing in nature for which they were thankful this holiday season -- and nothing could have better captured what the fight is really about.
From jade-streaked night skies that take our breath away to an ancient canyon colossus that makes us feel profoundly small -- everything we love about our world can continue to thrive when we take action against climate change. So we'd like to take a moment to appreciate the natural beauty that's all around us and remember what we can preserve by making sustainable everyday decisions.

If you've been fortunate enough to visit Yosemite National Park, you know how important the work of the @USInterior Department is. Two years ago, I experienced this amazing place and I've been dreaming of returning ever since. I don't have a return trip planned just yet but you better believe the mountains are calling... Thanks to the folks at @usinterior for all you do to celebrate and preserve our national treasures. #GramsForGood #tbt
This is my favorite photo I took in Iceland. On my last night it was snowing, freezing, and cloudy. For some reason we decided to go back to the lighthouse one more time incase the northern lights came out, and sure enough as soon as we got there it cleared up and we saw the best show ever that lasted for several hours until I got dropped off at the bus station to fly to Switzerland. #sorryfortraveling #sorryforcamping
