How much exercise would it take to burn off your favorite holiday foods? Lisa Drayer, MA, RD, author of The Beauty Diet gave us some perspective. To burn the calories in one ounce of Brie cheese, you'd have to chop wood for 45 minutes. Nuts can clock in at 400 calories per serving, so you'd need to walk for an hour and a half to burn off a portion. One slice of ham comes in at about 100 calories, so if you're into cleaning, you'd have to clean your house for 26 minutes to burn that same amount of calories. If you're craving a holiday sugar cookie, you'd need to get on an elliptical for 23 minutes to undo the 250 calories it comes with.
