Teens Filmed Themselves Feeding Live Cat To Dogs: Cops

Two teen boys in Bakersfield, California were arrested last week after posting a video online that appeared to show them feeding a live cat to two dogs.

Someone who saw the video — which was filmed over the summer — contacted Kern County Animal Services on Dec. 4, CBS 12 reported. In the video, a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old boy encourage the two large dogs dogs to attack the cat.

“We were absolutely sick and horrified to see any animal treated in that manner,” Animal Services spokeswoman Maggie Kalar told the station.

The suspects were arrested on suspicion of cruelty to an animal and taken to a juvenile detention center, according to the Bakersfield Californian.
