'Girls' May Last Longer Than 6 Seasons, According To Producer Jenni Konner

HBO just renewed "Girls" for a fifth season -- a decision that came just days before the series kicks off its fourth season Jan. 11 -- and executive producer Jenni Konner says there's a lot more on the way.

Fellow producer Judd Apatow has previously said the creative team discussed ending the show after six seasons, but Konner told HuffPost Live's Ricky Camilleri on Tuesday she's eager to go longer.

"Honestly, I think originally we had talked about it being five or six seasons, and now we're having so much fun that we're like, 'Let's run this into the ground.' ... We just want to keep doing it. It's so much fun, and we get more and more characters every year and more and more into the characters we have," Konner said.
