Joe Biden Says He Feels 'Completely Safe' At His Delaware Home After Shooting

Vice President Joe Biden said Wednesday that he's "not worried" about the recent reports of shots fired outside his Delaware home.

"I feel completely safe being there," Biden told NBC's "Today."

Four to six gunshots were heard on the main road outside Biden’s home Saturday evening, according to the Secret Service. The Washington Post reported the vice president and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, were not home at the time of the incident. Several shots were reportedly heard before a vehicle took off "at a high rate of speed."

"They could've easily shot and hit the guard shack or ... there's a little garage up front. There's no evidence of any bullet holes anywhere," Biden said.

The Washington Post also reported the residence’s surveillance cameras failed to capture images of the shooting or the person who fired the shots.

Biden said, "I think the security of my home is fine."
