Canadian Snow Drifts Were No Match For This Determined Freight Train

WATCH: Snow Drifts Were No Match For This Determined Freight Train

This freight train is like Thomas the Tank Engine's brawny older cousin. In place of positive self-talk and "thinking it can," it relies on pure power.

Nothing -- not even the snow accumulation from multiple Canadian blizzards -- is stopping Canadian National Railway locomotive 2304.

According to the videographer, this video was filmed near Salisbury, New Brunswick, on February 3rd, after "three major blizzards in less than a week" passed through the area. "I'm not sure how the train crew can even see with all that snow on the locomotive's nose!" the YouTuber writes.

The CBC reports the area has received more than six and a half feet of snow since January, enough for officials in nearby St. John to declare a state of emergency and close roads.
