There's a reason why parents warn their kids about stranger danger.
A 32-year-old Florida man was arrested Monday after he allegedly tried to lure two young girls onto a bus with the promise of candy. While he was being booked, he allegedly told a Broward Sheriff's deputy "I just wanted some p***y," Local 10 reports.
According to an arrest report, Damian Fletcher approached the girls, ages 9 and 11, and said, "Come with me on the bus and we'll go get some candy together and then I can take you places, come on."
Cops also said he told the girls, "I want to give you a hug. Come here and give me a hug."
The girls got scared because the didn't know him, which attracted other adults, cops said. Local 10 reports that the incident occurred outside the Carver Ranches Branch Library in West Park, and that there were many children and adults around.
Fletcher is charged with two counts of trying to lure or entice a child under 12, a misdemeanor, according to the Sun Sentinel. He was held on $150,000 bond.
