When Life Gives You Snow, Have A Massive Snowball Fight

When a snowball fight is on, no one is safe.

That's what hundreds of snow-loving Washington D.C. residents found out during a massive battle near Dupont Circle Tuesday morning. Much of the nation's capitol was closed for the day after being hit with the first major snowfall of the season.

Despite the cold, many embraced the winter weather that's been plaguing much of the East Coast this year. And as one Instagrammer wisely said: It may have been "too extreme to go to work, but not too extreme for a snowball fight."
