Las Vegas Surgeon And Wife Accused Of Hosting Drug-Fueled Sex Parties

Surgeon And Wife Hosted Drug-Fueled Sex Parties: Cops

A highly regarded orthopedic surgeon in Las Vegas threw wild sex parties at his home where he sold illegal drugs regularly, police allege

Andrew Scott Martin, 47, of Henderson, Nevada is accused of trafficking and possessing drugs, according to the Associated Press.

He pleaded not guilty last week to all 10 charges, the Las Vegas Review Journal reports.

A raid of Dr. Martin's home allegedly turned up mushrooms, the steroid testosterone, Ecstasy, cocaine and marijuana, according to police.

Martin's wife, Jennifer Martin was also arrested and she pleaded guilty earlier this month to possession of drugs which may not be introduced in interstate commerce. She paid a $1,000 fine.

The Martins were among eight people arrested in September after a year-long undercover operation that infiltrated the secret sex party network, according to police.

The allegations say that Martin regularly threw swinger parties with themes like "Eyes Wide Shut."

At a recent grand jury hearing, a female undercover officer said Martin rubbed up against her and tried to kiss her during one of the parties, according to KSNV.
