Bethany Hamilton Introduces New Baby Boy With Adorable Family Photo

Meet Tobias: a sure-to-be future surfing legend and newborn son of champion surfer and shark attack survivor Bethany Hamilton.

Hamilton and her husband Adam Dirks welcomed Tobias on June 1 and introduced him to the world via social media this week.

"He is named after his great grandpa Tobias meaning, 'The goodness of God,'" Hamilton explained on an Instagram post. "Adam and I [are] so in love with our lil guy and are stoked to share life with him!"

The couple announced the pregnancy with a video in February, when Hamilton was four months pregnant.

"I often forget that I have one arm," she said during the announcement. "I think there's going to be things that will be very challenging with one arm, but I'll just have to find my own way to take care of the baby ... I'll have to figure it out and be creative."

The 25-year-old continued to swim and surf during the first six months of her pregnancy, even competing in the World Surf League's Women's Pipe Invitational at the Banzai Pipeline -- one of the most challenging waves in the world.

We suspect it won't be long before baby Tobias is out in the water.

Congratulations to the new family!
