7 Things People Ask Gay Dads... But Shouldn't

As we approach Father's Day, let's not forget that fathers come in all shapes, sizes and sexual orientations.

In this new video from Gays With Kids, a group of gay fathers reenact seven of the most common -- and offensive -- things that others have said to them while taking care of their children in public.

At lot of the comments seem rooted in gendered assumptions about different roles that mothers and fathers are "supposed" to play in the process of parenting -- or questions about the origin of the baby itself. Comments like "Your sperm? His sperm? How does that work?" or "Who does the mommy stuff?" -- as evidenced in the video -- only serves to reinforce these stereotypes.
