What do you get when you combine New Orleans products with Mexican flavors? Apparently that is a question famed chefs John Besh and Aarón Sánchez felt needed to be answered when they opened the new restaurant Johnny Sánchez in New Orleans.

The two friends wanted to bring a bit of Mexican flavor to the New Orleans dining scene but they are doing it using a lot of local products and the NOLA know-how of Besh and the executive chef Miles Landrem.

So we sat down with Landrem and Besh to get the scoop on the new restaurant. And after the chatting is done we get into the kitchen with Landrem to learn the steps to their spicy and delicious ceviche. It's a perfect item to make at home to get into the Mexican-New Orleans spirit!
