With its origins in a dedicated terminal as a wire service, later expanded into a broad offering of text stories on the web, Bloomberg.com has become a multimedia financial and general news site with its redesign introduced a few weeks ago.

The site prominently features video and photos on the very top of the page.

We spoke with Kevin Krim, the global head of digital for Bloomberg, about the redesign and the value of rich media integrated into the site.
