Video: NBC's Research Czar: Online and Mobile Video Analytics are in the "Prehistoric Ages"

Analytics around online and mobile video is in the "prehistoric ages," with no single source to provide adequate information, says Alan Wurtzel who is President, Research & Media Development at NBC Universal.

He says that while online video has become as normal as a "toaster" for consumer to use, the huge gap in the business is measurement data.

Beet.TV sat down with him on Tuesday in Manhattan at the paidContent Mobile conference where he was a speaker.

In this wide-ranging interview, he speaks about mobile video consumption, the emergence of Apps and predictions on how the industry may evolve.
