I visit the High Line almost every day, and because I write about the park -- on the blog LivinTheHighLine.com and in the book On the Highline (recently released as an iPhone app) -- I'm always interested in what visitors are saying about it. The most common question I overhear -- and it comes from people of all ages and in dozens of foreign languages -- is: "What's that building over there?"
