Alana Miller is the program associate for PennPIRG, the state-wide nonpartisan consumer advocacy group based in Philadelphia. She advocates on behalf of citizens for expanding and improving public transportation, fixing crumbling infrastructure and spending taxpayers money more wisely. Miller also works as a watchdog for bad privatization deals to ensure that public control over assets like highways, bridges and city water systems is maintained.

Miller graduated with honors from Smith College with a B.A. in Latin American Studies and a concentration in Environmental Policy.
