Allison Koester

Accounting processor at Georgetown University

Dr. Koester is an expert on corporate taxes, financial reporting, and financial misconduct. She has been invited to present her research at more than 30 academic institutions and conferences. Koester received a Ph.D. in business administration (accounting) from the University of Washington. Koester currently teaches both of the required financial reporting courses in the full-time MBA program at Georgetown University. Prior to joining entering academia Dr. Koester was a senior tax associate at KPMG’s Washington National Tax office. She is a CPA in the Commonwealth of Virginia (inactive).
