Libyan Ambassador to the United States
Ali Suleiman Aujali is Libya’s Ambassador to the United States of America. He resigned from serving Libya’s old regime in this same capacity on February 21, 2011 to protest the regime’s killing of peaceful demonstrators. Ambassador Aujali has served his country since 1971, including diplomatic postings in Canada, Brazil, Argentina Malaysia, and the United Kingdom.
