Andy Capper was born 1973 in Southport, Merseyside. Starting his career in local journalism in the arena of court reporting, he moved to London to work for the New Musical Express, which is how he formed a relationship with the founders of Vice. After co-founding the UK branch of Vice Media with Andrew Creighton, he went on to make long-form documentaries for Vice including the acclaimed Swansea Love Story, The Vice Guide To Liberia, Krokodil Tears and many others. He’s also directed music videos for artists like A$AP Rocky, Vybz Kartel, Black Lips, Popcaan, Beenie Man, Turbonegro and Snoop Lion.

REINCARNATED is his first theatrical release. His new film, a co-production with Juliette Eisner, is called Lil Bub & Friendz and will premiere in 2013.
