Anne Buelteman spent eleven years on the national tour of Les Miserables in North America and Asia. She currently lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she was most recently seen as Miss Pennywise in Contra Costa’s production of Urinetown, as Fanny Saperstein in Bermuda Avenue Triangle at California Conservatory Theatre in San Leandro, at TheatreWorks in Scott Schwartz’ adaptation of Willa Cather’s My Antonia, and in American Musical Theatre’s production of Guys and Dolls.

Her first essay appeared in the anthology Single Woman of a Certain Age. She is currently at work on a novel about life on the national tour of a Broadway musical, tentatively titled Road Kill: Tales of a National Tour.
