Anne Stark grew up in the San Gabriel Valley in sunny Southern California, where her parents raised her and her three siblings with Albert Einstein’s advice to “read them more fairy tales.” She met her rural-boy-turned-scientist in Northern California, married him, and together they moved to Colorado, Berkeley, and then Cache Valley, Utah, where they raised their three children. Anne has been teaching writing and literature for 25 years, the last 22 at Utah State University. She has won Honorable Mention and finalist awards from Glimmer Train and Writers at Work for her fiction and non-fiction. Her pieces have been published in wordriver and Pear Noir!
