AnnMaura Connolly

AnnMaura Connolly serves as President of Voices for National Service, a coalition formed in 2003 in response to major cuts in federal funding that threatened hundreds of AmeriCorps programs. Voices for National Service mobilizes supporters to spread a critical message: America needs AmeriCorps. Connolly has been a leader in the National Service movement for more than 20 years. She has served in senior positions with Youth Service America and the Corporation for National Service as well as an independent consultant to a variety of foundations and nonprofits, including the Grantmaker Forum on Community and National Service, Atlantic Philanthropies, the AmeriCorps Anniversary Committee and the Corporation for National Service. In addition to her role with Voices for National Service, Connolly serves as Chief Strategy Officer & Executive Vice President for City Year, Inc., an organization that unites young people of all backgrounds for a year of full-time service in high-need schools nationwide. AnnMaura holds a B.A. in political science from the College of the Holy Cross. She serves on The Franklin Project Leadership Council, the Advisory Board for the Eli J. Segal Citizen Leadership Program at Brandeis University, the Federal Advisory Council of the Presidio Institute, and the Boards of Directors of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, My Good Deed, City Year South Africa and City Year UK. She also serves as a principal of the newly created Service Year Alliance. In January 2015, AnnMaura was selected for the first class of the Presidential Leadership Scholars Program, a joint initiative of the Bush, Clinton, Bush and Johnson Presidential Libraries.
