Ari Beser

Ari is a National Geographic Storyteller, a Getty Images Contributing Photographer, and the Author of The Book 'The Nuclear Family'

Ari Beser, author of the book 'The Nuclear Family,' is currently studying for a Masters in Film and Media arts at American University. A young filmmaker, he focuses on stories of peace and reconciliation, and the lessons learned from war. He is the grandson of Jacob Beser, the only man in the world to fly on both B-29 bombers that dropped the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Ari has travelled around the world with Hibakusha, or atomic bomb survivors, to spread a message of peace and reconciliation. He has also spent considerable time in Rwanda as a fellow with the Agahozo Shalom Youth Village.
