Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager at Education For Employment

Ashley Barry is the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager at Education For Employment (EFE), the leading network of youth employment nonprofits in the Middle East and North Africa. Before joining EFE, she worked in corporate and foundation relations at The Nature Conservancy. Prior to that, Ashley worked at Facebook, participating in the launch of the Arabic site. She also served as a faculty member at the Middlebury Arabic School and as an international election observer with the Carter Center during Tunisia’s parliamentary elections in 2014. She holds a Master of Public Administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (previously the Monterey Institute of International Studies) and a B.A. in Near Eastern Languages and Literatures: Arabic from the University of California, Berkeley. Upon graduating from UC Berkeley, Ashley studied at the Center for Arabic Study Abroad (CASA) at the American University in Cairo.
